HOW TO OPEN A BITCOIN WALLET ON BLOCKCHAIN

Note: There are a lot of BTC wallets but for the purpose of our programme, we make use of blockchain wallet because it is very easy to operate and monitor it's operations... Now to the

Steps:
1) Download Google Chrome. Blockchain wallet works fine on Google Chrome browser

2) You must have an email address

3) Go to https://blockchain.info

4) Click wallet

5) Click create new wallet

6) Follow the procedures You will be sent a mail

7) Go to your email and confirm by clicking the link sent

8) Then login with your details Hurray!!! You now have a btc wallet

9) After successful login, you will see send and receive

10) Click receive, you will see a long alphanumeric character, that you were told to copy. Copy it (like this JYYaE6TkQsMGBj8QT2QmM9sKfufFtCFPBt)

11) Go to your Notepad or anywhere safe, paste it there and save so you can use it at anytime. This what people will use to pay you. Its like your bank account number.

12) That number copied is your wallet address and you will be using it to collect or receive Bitcoin,

13) Pls note your wallet address is like your bank account number on blockchain, it is different from your wallet ID. Your wallet ID can be likened to your ATM pin which you use in gaining access to your account (logging in).

That's All, you now have a Bitcoin Wallet.

 Pls there's a huge difference between a Wallet ID and a Wallet address

A wallet ID is ur login id or username and MUST not be given to any1. (Eg is as233-fg57-df45-ak456-ae4568646), it always have letters and characters in b/w.

A wallet address is what u use to Send and Receive money (example...ay3hdt3ufj4KdyHTFs668Ndnhs), it does not hav (-) in b/w.

Your wallet address is what ure going to copy and paste on ur PO.

Then after u have been able to Create ur wallet address( which is what u wil use to send and receive money)

On ur blockchain account

•Go to Security centre and  verify ur email address(very important) .

•Enable ur mobile so it can be linked to ur blockchain(an sms will be sent to ur phone, after which u type it below and click on verify)

•Enable Backup Recovery phrase

Write and keep all the 12 phrase in one place safely ( dont misplace it u wil need this in case u 4get ur password and wil also help if some1 want to hack into ur a/c)
